I'm amazed my car even ran.
I had some serious stuttering problems on the freeway today and my AFRs went all wacky. I pulled off the freeway and pulled over and my car was barely idling. I pulled my spark plug wire cover and pulled the plug wires and 2, 3, and, 4 plugs were completely submerged in water.
I don't think it had anything to do with the hood vent as one was dry and there wasn't water in the trough area around the wells. I think I was just to lazy to check out my plug wires for the last several months and all that condensation finally got to me.
Dried out the wells and checked the plug gaps, then put in my new Magnacore wires that I had for the new motor and all is bueno again.

You're more fortunate that I was, Wes. Turning over hydro'd engines that haven't bent their rods is pretty cool though.

Luckily for me my spark plug seals held and kept the water out of the engine.
I just thought it was crazy to see that much water in 3 of the wells. I mean the water level was above the ends of the spark plugs and it still managed to run.

That is crazy! The boots on your wires must fit pretty snug on the plugs! I'm surprised the water didn't evaporate once the engine got up to temp.

Not if water keeps refilling it.
