Help!! what valves are best for my build
Ok, I just got my block back from the shop. They installed my "hd" wiseco pistons, maney "turbo tuff" i beam, and an eagle 88mm crank. Now its time for the head. I need help choosing the right valves for my build, I was thinking about going with ferrea competition plus valves stock size but i really don't know to much about a valves and if i should go with a bigger size like 1mm or .5mm. I'm going to be using 272's and most likely the FP3052 Ball Bearing Turbocharger im looks to build a 400-500awhp street car.

Re: Help!! what valves are best for my build
1. I have the 1mm OS valves. Power difference? Dunno, I did a few other things when I built the engine, so was it the valves that gave me the extra 20ish hp from the last dyno on the stock 6bolt to the built 6 bolt? Dunno. Raised compression, the build motor was less knock prone, and allowed for 2* of more timing. So the OS vavles did little to nothing at all I believe. Will I be doing it again if I do another build? No. Overly expensive for little to no gain.
And 400-500 AWHP on a FP3052...Daily? Not going to happen unless you have octane. On 91 alone you'll be lucky to scratch 350whp. On race gas/e85/meth, 400-440 is possible. Race gas...Dont know how baller you are to buy $10~$17/gal every day. E85 is good, but not readily available unless you live in Brentwood or Pamona or Diego, is affordable. Meth, affordable, risky without fail safes pretty readily available, if not denatured alky from lowes/home depot works.
