Crank case evacuation + WBO2
Due to a couple of people recommending it, I'm looking into the . I'm assuming that if you go this route, you have to mount the evacuation pipe on your exhaust *down stream* of the WBO2 sensor or it will mess up your O2 readings, right? This would be a pain b/c my O2 sensor is mounted at the back of my down pipe. I might move it in front of the flex section if I have to. Thoughts?

Re: Crank case evacuation + WBO2
I have my wideband sensor mounted before the bend in my down pipe, very close to the O2 housing and have had no ill effects from heat.

Re: Crank case evacuation + WBO2
Those do a good job of blocking boost from going through a weak/old PCV valve, but I don't see how it magically creates vacuum in the crank case. You really have to have bigger ports, more ports, or some sort of scavenging effect to have really good ventilation. Do you have any idea how that setup increases ventilation? I skimmed their website, but all I saw was something about the magic voodoo of their "unique Flow Controlled One-Way Valve that uses aerodynamic principles to move the valve in and out of position". Doesn't make sense how that increases ventilation when our OEM setup doesn't even have a valve on the ventilation line. I see how it keeps boost out if your stock pcv is dead and I can see how it helps ventilate more under vacuum and idle, but I'm concerned about ventilation under boost.

Re: Crank case evacuation + WBO2
that ET thing just sounds like a check valve...kinda like what our PCV valves are. $138, for two check valves and cheap $.30 hose clamps, they are making a killer. I'd like to see a patent number on that thing.

Yeah, but sam, if you read the faq, it's not just a check valve, it's a "unique Flow Controlled One-Way Valve that uses aerodynamic principles to move the valve in and out of position"...

LOL. I didn't know aerodynamics play much of a role at the air speeds that crank case pressure moves at. I'd love to call that company and ask them all sorts of tech questions.
