Wes's 2.3l 6-bolt build
I locked the old thread and am starting this one because the other one rambled on other topics for a while. Here is the setup as it stands now. Short Block Eagle 100mm stroke crank Manley H Beam Connecting Rods Wiseco 8.8:1 Stroker Pistons ACL Bearings Balance Shaft Elimination with machined down rear shaft. ARP Main Studs and connecting rod bolts Head (2G Head) 1mm oversized Stainless Steel Valves Brian Crower Springs and Retainers Revised Lifters New Valve guides and seals Forced Performance FP4R cams AEM Cam Gears Intake ports matched to gasket and Extrude honed intake manifold Exhaust ports polished Turbo and other accessories PTE 5031 internally gated Turbo with 17psi actuator Forced Performance Exhaust Manifold Extrude Honed 2G Intake 1150cc FIC Injectors Here are some pics of the engine waiting to be assembled. I need some more time to play with it.

You should have tried to find a evo III intake manifold to extrude hone since your staying with the 2G head.

Looks secsy Mr. Wes. You got Manley Rods pumping pistons up your bore. Looks nice, it's going to be a beast. Keep it clean and oil leak free...unlike El Chingone with the Holset Spyder.

keeps the oil in the motor clean all the time.
This Chino is gunna make your 2G cut a low 12 this comming weekend.
