 Starter Brush Trick
I have been having problems with my starter, typically a hot start but not limited to just that.
I had my friend rock the car back in forth lightly while I had it in 3rd gear and just turned the car on while he kept rocking it. Seems to have helped get a flat spot out or something.
Try it if you are having the same prob. In gear, not touching the clutch, key on.

All it does, is move the commutator bad spot so that you can start the car. When the starter lands in that spot again, it will do the same thing. It works in a bind, but isnt a fix.
