My only concern is the wideness of my car. I widened it to the point I needed 2" spacers up front and 3" spacers in the back... I figured I could run a wider tire goin with a bigger rim, is this not true?

I had 235/50/17s on my car and I got mad rubbings on my suspension and the top of the front wheel wells. Granted, I turn that car pretty hard but I had 10mm spacers and still got burning rubber smells ever so often.

FD rx-7 rims are 16's and are 8 inches wide. they work perfectly for our cars.

Yuck... those rims just dont cut it for me! I'm looking for racing rims, and I know the style shouldnt matter, but goodness... can I get a LITTLE bit of candy! Who makes some good 16x8 or 17x8 lightweight racing rims?
