LADSM Fund Raising?
Hey,
I'm not sure who's paying for the forums or anything else that costs money to keep LADSM running, but...
I was thinking reguardless who pays for it, it would be cool to generate some money.
The most simple idea is to have like a BBQ (maybe at the meet?) and cook food and have drinks n' shit, and charge like $5 for anyone that shows up hungry (cheap dinner). It would not be a typical thing, maybe like once a month at the most. It seems like random people show up at the meet, and missing is no big deal. The BBQ night would be a like "semi-required/the time not to miss" to show support for LADSM. Plus, I get really board easy, and It would be way cooler to have food and drinks and be more fun then standing there lighting recipts on fire (yah know? lol). It would take like 1 person to buy all the shit in bulk and someone bring a few BBQ's and coolers. The only killer would be if no one shows up and someone has to eat some of the cost/save leftovers. So maybe we would meet a little earlier and do it from like 7:30p to 8:30p and then just do a typical meet from there on.
The second idea I had was making some T-shirts, hats, yata-yata.. to sell if someone ever wanted one. It would be good for stuff like MOD.
The money could go to the forums/webpage, or some type of events we all want to roll to (dyno event? drag race?) I have no idea.
Let me know what you think... Please add to the idea, or point out the problems in the suggestion.
Thanks.

Good idea but we do BBQ's where everyone puts in. The webhost isnt that much and Onex makes the money probably from selling the shirts. The more people in the forum who participate, buys a shirt because they wanna rep, the more money, the better the site gets.
Thanks for the input though Tyler
