so im back. my car has been parked for about 8 months now and my dreams are fading. i dont need cash so i am not in a hurry to sell. cash walks away with it. when i last drove it these where the items i replaced. all items have no more than 200 miles on them. -all items are new -power steering belt -alternator belt -ac belt (needs to be recharged) -replaced the bracket that holds the power steering pump onto the block -installed 2g manifold -all new hardware from RRE for manifold (copper nuts, studs, copper gasket, bolts that connect manifold to down pipe) -Radiator -Radiator Hoses -Spark Plugs ( i want to say i installed NGK) -Spark plug cables -Rebuilt shifter (installed the rubber bushings to get rid of play in shifter, parts from mistu dealer) -fixed exhaust leak -Replaced Front lights. Cons: -rear makes a "clicking" noise when the car moves in reverse only. no noises when moving forward. I think its the rear axle bearing that i have purchased already but have not installed. -front engine mount needs new hardware. where it mounts under the radiator one of the bolts snapped off. think the previous owner may have hit a parking block. i have both bolts and washers for the front that i bought from the dealer with receipts. you will need to tap it out. - tags are up in February but i will have it registered if i get a interested buyer -has the phantom no start. give it a couple minutes and it starts right up. very random. -leaks oil from the driver side never really pin pointed where this is coming from. i think its the oil pump. -valve cover has a tiny crack on top where the spark plug cables go (i have a replacement but it is currently not installed) -Exterior is real nice. i would say 8 1/2 to 9 out of 10 -interior is a good 7. the only reason that i say 7 is the headliner is sagging. typical lol. all the plastics are in place and seats are in good condition. -i would change the wheels and tires all in all i am getting rid of this because i have too many projects that i am juggling and i cant dedicate any time to this one. i love my DSM but we must part. i drove this car from Paramount to Anaheim everyday for about 3 months before i parked it. this is a ideal project car with very high hopes of being driven daily. at the worst it would make a awesome parts car. you would need to buy it complete and part out on your own. cant part out where i live sorry guys. feel free to PM me any offers. be reasonable please. you can ask any questions on this thread and i will gladly answer to the best of my ability. i bought the car for 2000 last feburary. make me a offer. I totally get that. I'm not trying to get 2. I would let it go for no less than 1200. |
