I hate doing this but I need the funds asap.

Car: 1995 GSX 5 speed (2gb converted)
Mileage: 112k (chassis) , 4500k (engine)
Engine: 2.0L 6-bolt bottom end, 7-bolt head to prevent the crankwalk issue. Fully built.
Mods: Wiseco 9.0:1 forged pistons 0.020" over, Eagle Rods, BC 272/272 Cams, MLS Head gasket, FP Intake pipe w/K&N Cone Filter, Magnecor Plug Wires, NGK Plugs, DSM Link v2. ARP Head Bolts, PR FMIC, SPAL 1360CFM Fans, FP HTA86 Turbo, EVO 3 Ported Manifold, EVO 3 Ported o2 Housing, Apexi N1 Exhaust, 3" Short Downpipe w/3" Test pipe. ACT 2600 Clutch w/Fidanza 8.5lb Flywheel, Walbro 255lph Pump, Aeromotive FPR, Greddy Type S BOV, Jay's Racing Alternator Relocator Kit. 3g Lifters

Body: Seibon CF Hood, and OEM EVO 9 MR BBS rims w/OEM Yokohama tires. The condition of the body is great, just a couple of holes to plug up due to the low-rise spoiler from the 2ga, and some of the paint is fading away.

The problems with the car is that the car stalls out when trying to make hard turns or after high boost, and sometimes on cold starts. The car does not have a radio in it, and some of the interior pieces have been taken off. The passenger side door handle broke off, and on the driver's side the door handle doesn't work all the time so I needed to have the window down a little bit.

If you have been to the Norwalk meets on Monday nights, I have brought my car there a few times. I recently got a ref ticket for my FPR so I'm not driving it right now plus I got my bimmer back so I'm using that instead.

The car dynoed at 340whp/345wtq @ 25psi. Tuned by Sam at RRE and dynoed at the same place.
I am asking for $6500.00 obo, I'm looking to get rid of this asap.

*Edit* Here are some old pics before I swapped in the FP HTA68. Pics were taken from the engine builder's brother:

I have the day off so I can shoot some pics, but the car is dirty, haven't had a chance to wash it since it has been my daily for the past month due to my other whip being in the shop

Pictures are pretty much a necessity if you want to seriously sell a car. They become a requirement when you want what you're asking for.

I don't think you can sell this if it has a ref ticket, they wont let the person who buys it put it under their name, right christ? the ref ticket has to be fixed before it can be sold but i am not 100 percent sure of this, looks nice, good luck with the sale.

well i just talked to the judge today, and he looked at the violation and said that I can just pay the fine and it will be all cleared up. I explained to him that the car is going to be an off road vehicle so that is why I am not changing anything out because it would be too much hassle for me and for the next owner of it. He was okay with it

Good luck w/ the sale bro. It's very unfortunate when a vehicle falls victim/prey under california smog law.

Just a heads up to a potential buyer of this car. Pls. make sure that you know what your getting into. Especially when purchasing a vehicle that's been tagged by the state ref/DMV system. You would need to put the vehicle back to stock or stockish looking condition (stealth is key!) to pass the state ref.

Once you have been able to get everything up to square, your next hurdle would be the basic smog test itself. This would cost you $$$ if issues arise.

On top of that, there would be some money and a lot of work involved if you were to get a shop to do the work for you. Make sure that you have sufficient funds. Your best bet is to do the work yourself w/ the help of a fellow tuners here in the forum. Ask for suggestions or help. I'm sure that someone will be kind enough to lend a helping hand.

If you need parts to borrow temporarily, surely someone here as well would have one handy.

Again to the seller, good luck bro. I hope you find a buyer for the vehicle. Please be informative about your car, as well as, to what they should expect and or getting into before their purchase. :)

Post Re: FS: 1995 GSX 5 speed
thanks for the info. I went ahead and I put a junk title on the car, but I can still register it without a problem. According to the DMV, they said that I need to just do a VIN verification, and do a smog. in which the smog is not a problem. Once I get those two situations handled, then I can start driving the car again. The car is not flagged by the State of California since I never even showed up to the ref place. In order for the car to be operable, I just need to recharge the battery and upload the MAPs that I have on dsmlink.
