Yeah it was a stage 4 actually. 3rd gear was making kinda a weird noise earlier that night before the meet but it was really quiet kinda like a weird vibration but I didn't think much of it.. then I started spooling up in 3rd to get on the 605 and BAM.. something broke bad. It was waiting to break at any minute I guess. Since it broke in 3rd and 3rd was making that noise the damage must have been done a while before the meet. When I was leaving I just finished it off. Oh well.. time to get a 89 civic or something haha
Tranny has alwasy had a couple weird things about it. 1st and 2nd gear kinda move forward/back about 1/4 inch when I let off the gas or get back on. And 4th gear has always had a quiet whine to it. It happens every once in a while with built trannies they say like 1 in a 100 has a problem hopefully they'll warranty it. I mean my car is pretty quick but this kind of tranny has been proven on 8 second 1/4 mile passes and shifting over 10k RPM by Shep so I don't think I did something too bad to break it! haa
