I've noticed the past year, group participation has been dying off a little bit. The meets have been consistently averaged their smallest and there was hardly any LADSM organized events this past year. Lets try to boost up morale and participation by scouting some ideas for potential upcoming events we can hold.

Since I used to start the Dromo meets, I'd like to gauge interest in having a K1 meet since Dromo is RIP. For those of you that aren't familiar, is indoor electric go-karts. I have not personally been there but I think there is enough interested to try this out.

If anyone has any suggestions or wants to take responsibility for organizing a get-together, please do so. Myself and other members will most likely be willing to help you. Some ideas are beach meet/BBQ, canyon run, photo ops and so on.

Oh yeah, and start going to the Monday meet more often. Last Monday was a good turn out but only after several 4-8 member turnouts which is kind of sad.

the IE meets have had low numbers recently too... i blame the economy lol

what K1 were you thinking of going to? i have been to the one in ontario, i like it better then Fast Lap or Pole Position.

theres a group of Miata guys that go to the one in ontario every monday night

im in...ive been plannin on goin to the monday meet but jus havnt went..work gets in the way...but im gonna come down and k1 sounds good and to place it in anahiem is good also...thats a good enough distance for us and the ie guys...the dsm community does need to start havin more events for everyone all around...i agree with christ

we used to go to Thursday night Irwindale and Roscoes as well...always in for Scoe's Chicken and Waffle...

We can do another Bon fire meet that turned out pretty well last time we did that. I can show up super early in the morning since I dont work weekends and save a pit. This way we dont have to start another fight haha.

Good thing you brought this up Christ. Well Im always down for weekend meets and get togethers, but at the same time when there is things being set-up no one wants to go. Example Like the Basketball meet we tried to do...it was so pathetic we couldnt even get 10 members play to get a full team... I mean DAMN really...idk a few of of thought it'll be cool to shoot hoops and bbq but no ones gets involed...

Puente hills mitsu meet...was pretty much a brew crew meet(Me jerry, alvin, edgar, gabe...) Btw jerry and edgars DSM's are down but they still showed up...

I mean theres stuff going on but there isnt much participation as other years before. Even MOD this year wasnt as big as other years.

Idk id rather have a smaller quality amount of regular members than a bunch of randoom people that come and go...

One suggestion can be a holiday thing like a Monday Meet at BJs at Stonewood Mall, down the street from the Monday Spot...or maybe even do this: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11941

a basketball n bbq meet sounds good...ill play basketball all day...

A park meet like what the IE guys did last year where we BBQ and play football or softball
Or like when we had the chino BBQ that was chill .

it would have to be mid october before it starts raining... what about the saturday before the track, the 23rd?
